  • Deliver expert first and second opinions, multidisciplinary reviews, and personalized care planning — at no cost to patients.

Anchored by Cincinnati Cancer Advisors and Naples Cancer Advisors, we provide no-cost, platinum-level consultation services to individuals facing a cancer diagnosis. These services include first and second opinions, clinical trial navigation, financial advocacy, care coordination, and precision oncology tools like genetic counseling and testing — empowering patients and families to make confident, informed decisions during an incredibly vulnerable time.

We advance cancer research through both internal insight and external investment. To reduce the suffering and mortality associated with cancer — and to ensure that, should someone face the adversary of cancer, Greater Cincinnati (and now SWFL) would be the very best places in the nation to receive treatment, support, and care.

About Our Founder: Dr. William L. Barrett

In 2015, Dr. William L. Barrett set out with a bold and compassionate vision: to make Greater Cincinnati one of the best places in the country to receive support and care during a cancer diagnosis.

He created the Cincinnati Cancer Foundation Inc. as a philanthropic engine — a way to power innovative, patient-centered programs that provide expert second opinions, financial navigation, and precision oncology services at no cost. That vision became reality through the launch of Cincinnati Cancer Advisors, and has since expanded to Southwest Florida with the creation of Naples Cancer Advisors.

Today, Cincinnati Cancer Foundation Inc. is growing into a comprehensive community cancer foundation model — one that unites clinical services, collaborative partnerships, and philanthropic investment to drive real impact. We now offer donors the opportunity to invest in the future of cancer care through Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs), legacy gifts, and aligned giving strategies that generate long-term benefit.

As stewards of RIDE Cincinnati, one of the region’s largest fundraising efforts for cancer, we proudly lead a competitive grantmaking pillar that directs funds to local research, patient programs, and high-impact solutions across Greater Cincinnati.

We also convene the region’s leaders in cancer care, public health, and advocacy through our Cancer Consortium — a collaborative initiative focused on reducing duplication, closing care gaps, and aligning efforts to make this region the most supportive place in the country for those facing cancer.
